About Dr. Jason Broth
Dr. Broth received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University College of Dentistry in 2006. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Nassau County Dental Society.
Dr. Broth provides the highest quality care and has been trained in the latest state of the art developments in order to provide optimal care to all his patients.
Jason resides on Long Island with his wife and his three boys. He spends much of his free time rooting for, and supporting his sons' teams. He is an avid sports fan.

About Dr. Lauren S. Argentina

Dr. Argentina received her DDS degree from SUNY Stony Brook and then completed a one-year residency in General Dentistry at Stony Brook University Hospital. Dr. Argentina worked as an associate Dentist in Deer Park, Long Island and on Park Avenue in NYC before establishing Modern Dentistry of Long Island in 2008.
Dr. Argentina lives in Plainview with her husband and 3 children, Shayna, Mario and Lorenzo. There is nothing that gives Dr. Argentina more joy than putting smiles on her patient's and families faces! Welcome to our Modern Dentistry Family :)
About Dr. Hilsha Carion
Dr. Hilsha Carrion received a D.M.D. degree (2004) from the School of Dental Medicine in her native Puerto Rico. Then she completed a one-year residency in General Dentistry (2005) at Stony Brook University Hospital. Dr. Carrion’s leadership and excellent didactic and clinical skills led her to a second-year appointment as Chief Resident. In this capacity, Dr. Carrion managed more complex dental cases, received advanced training in oral surgery, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, implant and cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. Carrion has now been in private practice for 15 years in Longs Island, NY. She lives in Port Jefferson with her husband Julio, a local Periodontist, and their four beautiful girls, Faviola, Sofia, Natalia and Noelia. Dr. Carrion and her family are very excited to be welcoming their first son in April 2021! Dr. Carrion enjoys being a mother and spending time at the beach with her daughters during the summertime. She also loves international cuisine, traveling and is very passionate about interior home design.
Dr. Carrion is most known for her compassion and caring towards all of her patients. Dr. Carrion strives with great emphasis on making the dental experience positive for all of her patients by providing quality care in a pleasant and comfortable environment.
About Dr. James Walshe
Hello my name is Dr. Walshe and I am a New Yorker born and raised in Lynbrook, NY. I am a Chaminade graduate, and an alumnus of Adelphi University where I received a Bachelor of Science in Biology. I received my DDS degree from New York University College of Dentistry, and I completed my Residency program at Woodhull Hospital in Brooklyn, NY.
I love that every day is an opportunity to learn something new as well as to educate others about something I am so passionate about. I believe that an honorable and ethical patient-doctor relationship is important in order to establish a strong foundation for oral hygiene practices and principles with each one of my patients. The wellbeing and satisfaction of my patients is paramount when it comes to dental care. I feel lucky to be part of a practice that mirrors my ideology, as well as having the opportunity to work along side some of the best Doctors I have encounterd to date at Modern Dentistry.
I like to spend my free time hanging out with my friends, family, and my dog Ollie. I enjoy going to concerts and listening to live music, as well as traveling around the globe. Much of my family resides in Ireland, so that is one of my favorite places to travel to!
